Avinash Pandey, CEO, ABP News

Avinash Pandey was born on March 22nd and is the current Chief Executive officer (CEO) of the ABP news. Avinash is renowned for his hard work and dedication towards his role with ABP news where he has taken the channel to greater heights in the past 13 years of service. It was only after Avinash’s joining that the channel has seen a major surge in its growth in advertising revenue and he was the one who has played a crucial role in the increased business outreach of the network ever after its transformation from Star news to ABP News in 2012. Moreover, he was one of the key contributors in the overall rebranding and repositioning process of the news channel in 2012.

Avinash’s ubrining was done in a middle class family with high values and same can be seen in his work ethics over the time. Avinash Pandey has been his real name and he is been known by that name only since his childhood. Avinash is always been known as a hardworking workaholic with utmost dedication and maintained the same ethics during his career in the past two decades. Reading and writing is one os his passion and his competitive approach has got him appreciations and accolades from around the world.

Avinash has grown to big number ever he started his career in the media industry two decades back.  He is there with the ABP group since 2005 whilst taking care of the advertising revenue and extension of the media group. Avinash is backed by almost 20 years of experience in advertising, sales, distribution, marketing and content creation. He has worked with various other media groups like Indian Express TV, Today group (India Today) whilst been a part of the launch of channels like Aaj Tak and Headlines Today. He is a former member of Credit control in Indian Broadcasting Federation for a period of 15 years whilst been a part of the Broadcasters Association of India in the past. He has served as a board member for the International Advertising Association –India chapter for over 7 years.
